I used this service while staying on Aka Island. They take you to the dive sites by boat, so getting there was very easy. Just as its reputation as one of the world’s clearest waters suggests, the blue of the sea and the beauty of the coral are simply breathtaking. It’s also great that equipment rental is free, making it very convenient.

The water was insanely clear lol. Seriously, it was amazing. Even as a beginner, it was totally easy, and I got to see so many fish! They lent me all the gear, so I could go empty-handed—it was the best.

I took part in a boat snorkeling tour departing from Aka Island. The “Kermadec Blue” waters, said to have some of the clearest visibility in the world, were truly amazing—I could even see the seabed from the boat! The instruction for beginners was easy to follow and a lot of fun.

I was worried that I wouldn’t have enough stamina since it had been a while since I’d been in the ocean, but the staff provided great support, so even as a beginner, I was able to manage just fine. The boat ride was comfortable, and the moment I entered the water, I was overwhelmed by the world of “Kermadec Blue” that spread out before me. I’m really glad I participated.

The water around Aka Island was incredibly clear, and the scenery was breathtaking. Although we were snorkeling from a boat, we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful “Kermadec Blue” waters even while we were moving. All the rental equipment was provided, and the preparations beforehand went smoothly. We saw lots of fish and beautiful coral reefs, and we were very satisfied. I think this is a great option even for beginners.

I’m not much of a swimmer, and I wasn’t confident in my stamina, so I was a little nervous before participating, but the staff were so kind that even beginners had absolutely no trouble! The entry from the boat went smoothly, and the moment I entered the water, the beauty of the Kermadec Blue swept away all my worries. We participated as a family, and the staff were so kind to our children that we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves from start to finish. The ocean was so beautiful—I was totally blown away~♪ So this is what “Kerama Blue” is all about☆ Just looking down from the boat, I could see right to the bottom—it was crystal clear—and I couldn’t stop getting excited even before I started swimming! The rental gear was in great condition, and it’s such a plus that you can join in hands-free~♪ I saw so many beautiful fish; it felt like I was in a whole different world. I was simply overwhelmed by the Kerama Blue sea I’d always dreamed of seeing... The water was so crystal-clear it left me speechless—it truly cleansed my soul... Snorkeling on Aka Island was just as beautiful as I’d imagined. Since you can rent the equipment for free, I think it’s good value for the money. However, getting on and off the boat felt a little rushed. I think it was an experience worth the price.
