What is Sotochi Island Observatory?

It is located in front of Kerama Airport on Sotochi Island, just across the Kerama Ohashi Bridge.

Kerama Airport is a temporary airport used only when charter flights fly in, but since there are no residents on the island, it is now under the jurisdiction of Kerama Island and is currently nearly unmanned.

How to play at Sotochi Island Observatory

The entrance to the observatory has a closed screen door, but it is not locked, so you can open it yourself and enter. The path to the observatory is paved, so it is relatively easy to walk and takes about 15 minutes to reach the observatory.

When you reach the pavilion, the view of the ocean is breathtaking and you can see 360 degrees around the pavilion, making it a great spot to relax.
