What is Watanaki Island?

A remote island in the Kerama Islands.Watanaki Islandis a remote island that can be reached by ferry from the main island of Okinawa in about 1 to 2.5 hours.

It is called the "original landscape of Okinawa" and is said to be an island where you can do nothing but relax and enjoy the scenery, plants, and sea life.

How to play on Watanaki Island

It is called "the island where the old Okinawa remains," and is so valuable that the entire village has been selected as a demand traditional building preservation district, so a stroll through the town is recommended.

It is also said that sea turtles can be seen year-round, so it is recommended to enjoy snorkeling with coconut crabs on the beach and sea turtles and colorful fish in the ocean.
