I joined this tour to create memories on my solo trip. The traditional sabani, propelled solely by the wind, was quiet and comfortable, and I was able to relax while listening to the sound of the waves. I also enjoyed snorkeling on the uninhabited island at my own pace, and since the staff were so friendly and chatted with me, I didn’t feel lonely at all, even though I was traveling alone! I’m so grateful they took such wonderful photos for me.

I signed up for this tour because I was intrigued by the rare opportunity to ride on a traditional sabani. The feeling of gliding along with the wind was a fresh experience, and the sight of the sailboat floating on the ocean makes for a picturesque scene no matter where you take a photo. It was a rare opportunity to ride a “Sabani,” a traditional Okinawan sailboat. The feeling of being propelled by the wind was incredibly pleasant, and the water was so crystal-clear that snorkeling around the uninhabited island was absolutely amazing. The sun is very strong, so sunscreen is a must.

I participated in the desert island walking tour on a Sabani boat. I took my parents, who are in their 70s and elderly, with me, but they were very kind and courteous and gave us a very satisfying tour, including explanations about the Sabani boat and guiding us to the viewing platform on the deserted island. It is also very fun to paddle together with everyone breathing in unison. Captain Sohei will take you to a deserted island and show you sea turtles by snorkeling.
