I was worried I wouldn't have the stamina to paddle the entire way, but I was relieved to be able to go at my own pace. I was truly moved by the sense of accomplishment when we landed on the uninhabited island and by the view of the Kerama Blue stretching out before me. The transportation to and from the island went smoothly, which was a big help. The sun was strong, so I think it would have been more comfortable if I had brought a rash guard.
