I joined this tour to create memories on my solo trip. The traditional sabani, propelled solely by the wind, was quiet and comfortable, and I was able to relax while listening to the sound of the waves. I also enjoyed snorkeling on the uninhabited island at my own pace, and since the staff were so friendly and chatted with me, I didn’t feel lonely at all, even though I was traveling alone! I’m so grateful they took such wonderful photos for me.

I signed up for this tour because I was intrigued by the rare opportunity to ride on a traditional sabani. The feeling of gliding along with the wind was a fresh experience, and the sight of the sailboat floating on the ocean makes for a picturesque scene no matter where you take a photo. The water was incredibly clear while snorkeling around the uninhabited island. The tour included a photo session, and I’m thrilled with the wonderful shots the photographer captured!

I highly recommend cruising on a traditional Okinawan sailboat called a “sabani”! Since there’s no engine noise, all you can hear is the sound of the waves—and the feeling of becoming one with nature is incredibly soothing♪ The guide was also really kind and taught us all about Okinawa’s history and nature in a fun way☆ If you’re on the fence, you should definitely give it a try!

My family and I visited Zamami Island and took a cruise on a traditional Sabani sailboat. The experience of gliding quietly along on the power of the wind alone was truly out of the ordinary, and my children enjoyed the feeling of becoming one with the ocean. The guide’s stories about nature were also fascinating. However, since there was no shade from the sun, it would have been perfect if they had mentioned in advance that we should bring hats and sunscreen.

I was so moved by the beauty of the ocean during my last visit to Zamami Island that I returned this time for a rare tour aboard a traditional Sabani sailboat. The view from the Sabani, which moves solely by the power of the wind, offers a tranquility unlike that of a regular boat, giving me a strong sense of oneness with nature. It was another wonderful experience.
