Warmth and Heat Stroke Prevention
■Cold day
The average winter temperature in Okinawa is around 20 degrees Celsius, and the sea temperature in the Kerama Islands never drops below 22 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the water temperature is higher than the outside temperature, making it comfortable in the water on many days. Other than that, we wear a 3mm hood vest (excellent) under a 5mm one-piece dress, and we always keep the temperature on the boat around 25 degrees Celsius by using a boat coat (free of charge), a heated cabin, and heat from the engine.For lunch, we offer hot Okinawan soba and oden for your comfort. For those who are still cold, we have a secret weapon!
■Hot day
The heat in Okinawa lasts until about October, with average temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius.It is especially hot in August. Many of our guests are accompanied by their children during the summer vacation season, and we are concerned about sunburn and heat stroke due to excessive playtime.In order to make the Kerama Islands cooler and more enjoyable for our guests, we will be offering a limited number of oyster ice services in August and September (we will decide whether or not to offer this service in September depending on how things go). We will serve oyster ice for a limited time in August and September (we will decide if we will hold this event in September). We have a wide variety of syrups, and the oyster ice with a view of the Kerama blue sea is a must-try.

Normally, a wetsuit is worn when diving. The fabric of the wetsuit is spongy and very buoyant, so you will never sink. Therefore, we wear weights to help us sink. (We also use a BCD, which acts as a floatation bag.)

Q. What if I have trouble breathing underwater?Fatigue from too much movement or shallow breathing is one of the most common causes.
