Warmth and Heat Stroke Prevention
■Cold day
The average temperature in Okinawa in winter is around 20 degrees Celsius, and the water temperature in the Kerama Islands stays above 22 degrees Celsius, making it comfortable underwater. 5mm one-piece and 3mm hood vests are worn, plus free boat coats and heaters on board to keep the temperature around 25 degrees. For lunch we serve hot Okinawan soba or oden, and we also have a "secret weapon" to combat the cold.■Hot day
The heat in Okinawa lasts until around October, especially in August, when the average temperature is very hot at around 32°C. During summer vacation, many people with children worry about sunburn and heat stroke. For this reason, we offer shaved ice service only in August and September (we are considering holding this service in September). The shaved ice, served with a wide variety of syrups, and enjoyed while viewing the Kerama blue, is a must-try.
