How to get to Aka Island from Naha Airport

To get to Aka Island, you will need to take a high-speed boat or ferry, once through the main island of Okinawa.
Upon arrival at Naha Airport, first take a cab or drive to Naha Tomari Port.

From Nahadomari Port to Aka Island, it takes about 90 minutes by ferry "Ferry Zamami" or 50-70 minutes by high-speed boat "Queen Zamami".

The most recommended means of transportation on Aka Island is to rent a motorcycle.
Because of the many hills, it is physically demanding to tour the islands on foot alone, and it is difficult to visit all of them.
Of course, being a motorcycle, a driver's license is required to drive it, but if you have a driver's license, I would highly recommend it.

The only place on Aka Island where motorcycles can be rented is the Rental Shop Sho.
The hourly rate system allows for flexible renting.

The store where you can rent bicycles is "Rental Shop Sho", the same store where you can rent bikes.
It is easy to rent a bike at a significantly lower cost than a rental bike, and you can rent a shower for 200 yen, so you can quickly wash off any sweat from the bike ride.
