Former site of mass self-determination

The site of the mass suicide, a designated cultural asset of Tokashiki Village.
At the site, an information board describing the tragedy that took place there and a monument commemorating the victims have been erected.

Kora Family Residence

The Takara Family Residence is an old house on Kerama Island built during the Ryukyu Kingdom period.

Monument to the Fire of Peace
Since the first U.S. troops landed in Zamami Village during the Battle of Okinawa, a fire was collected on Aka Island as the "Peace Fire," and a monument commemorating the collection of the fire has been set up at that location.
The Peace Fire is lit in Peace Memorial Park in Itoman City on Memorial Day (Okinawa Prefecture's War Memorial Day) to share with the "Peace Lamp" and "Pledge Fire," symbols of peace in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and is a tourist attraction that attracts many people as a symbol of peace in Okinawa Prefecture.
