We were a family of 5 people from 3 generations, and we thought the chances of seeing whales might be slim at the end of March, but about 30 minutes into the cruise, we saw a splash in the distance! I thought we were lucky to see this one, but the boat gradually got closer and we were able to watch it several times for an hour. I was very happy to see the parent and calf whale coming up and the big tail of the whale as it dived. The staff was very friendly and helpful from pick up and drop off to guiding us around the area.

Since we went in February, the one-day tour was only a half-day tour due to the cold water temperature. They taught us carefully even though it was our first diving experience.
